Ski 2006 - Mt Hotham

Back from Mount Hotham after 7 days.

I 'learnt' how to snowboard (I still have sore knees, but after 3 days could turn and fall down the hill in a semi controlled way).

Oliver also discovered snowboarding and skiing and Luca discovered that the real action is at the pub afterwards with grandad.

the breakfast blog: Sequoia, Woodend

the breakfast blog: Sequoia, Woodend: "in the outback you're a fair chance of being chopped into little pieces!"

I was looking for Sequoia's phone number and found this... I never realized i lived in such a dangerous part of the world, but now i think about it.. the drop bears.. the blood sucking spiders, the snakes and thats not to mention my neighbours and their strange behavior on full moons.. and most friday nights.

Photos from the Cocktail Ball

I think a great night was had by all. Everyone dressed up and helped create a great atmosphere. There were multi colored lights, fog machine, dancing, Mysterious concoctions of blended alcohols, citrus fruits and secret ingredients. An indoor snow fight, Alex made pizza after pizza from the wood oven, Beverly and others helped out throughout the night..

I moved from group to group.. met some great people and ended up getting to bed around 4.00 in the morning.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday evening.

Thanks to Derek, Hugh, Beverly, Alex and Caroline for comming down from Sydney and Canberra just for the party.
